Bariloche is one of the most important touristic destinations in South America and one of the main attractions to go to Patagonia Argentin.   When you come to Bariloche, only one way of transport is not enough to know these lands deeply. Flying chairs, catamarans, canoes and vapor trains are touristic attractions themselves. On the other hand, the southern roads invite to roam them in well prepared vehicles.

Activities & Excursions: what do do in Bariloche?
 

Bariloche is the place to go for young people, since there's a lot of places to go at night, hip night clubs, bars and pubs and friendly people everywhere.
You will also find several options on what extreme sports is about, you can practise mountain bike, trekking, rafting, ski, paragliding and other sports in a unique place surrounded by natural stunning landscapes.

Mountain Bike: Whether by own or rented bike, Bariloche offers a lot of paths to roam that could challenge the most skilled biker. It is important to organize excursions with guides and appropriate equipment. The outskirts of Tronador hill, Cerro Catedral and Gutierrez Lake are the most popular zones.

Trekking: There are options for all ages to practise trekking and see the most beautiful landscapes of Bariloche. Clothes and footwear must be confortable and resistant. Depending on the duration of the walk you may sleep in a refugee.

Rafting: there's a wide range of difficulty levels from rookies to veterans. It is necesary to wear confortable clothes and take a change of clothing.

Ski and Snowboard: One major attraction in Bariloche is its excellent infrastructure for the practice of winter sports, just like ski and snowboard. Besides these, there are a lot of other ludic activities for all likings and levels of expertise.

Paragliding: paragliding from Otto and Catedral Hills allows to contemplate an unique landscape. Two-seater flights are organized there during aproximately 20 minutes.

4x4 circuits: various companies offer organized excursions in all-terrain vehicles, which travel along pathways sometimes inaccesible for ordinary cars. Excellent viewers with privileged sights of the enviroment and little travelled paths are the prize for those ones who dare to this way of travelling.

Rides: there are quiet rides for families and more extreme and rushing rides for experienced riders, which last between 1 and 7 days.

Hunting: species like the red deer or the wild boar are valued for the hunters. Major and minor hunt can be practiced in specific zones. It is necesary to be older than 18 years to use authorized weapons, and to have a permission.

Climbing: At Club Andino Bariloche you can be adviced of the best places to practice climbing, which requires specific preparation. Otto hill is one of the favorites for climbing and one of the most challenging.
