Travelling info: how to travel to Buenos Aires?
- Buenos Aires has a broad offer of ways of transport: Planes, buses, cabs, remises, car rental, subway, long distance buses, trains and ships.
- There are services for all budgets that allow the turist to move on every part of the city and to travel from Buenos Aires to any other touristic point in the country, such as Bariloche, Perito Moreno, Patagonia Argentina, or so.
- Buenos Aires Airports:
Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) 19 miles from the city.
Jorge Newbery Airport: for cabotage and regional flights.
- Cabs: they can be easily identified, they are black with a yellow roof and with the license number painted in the doors.
- Remises: cars that can only be contacted by phone and usually less expensive than cabs.
- Buses: There are more than 15.000 units in circulation. In contrast with the basic service, the special service can only transport sitting passengers and has air-conditioned.
- Subway: there are five lines which connect the city with the ourskirts.
Gastronomy: where to eat?
  Buenos Aires city centre offers a huge variety of restaurantes for most demanding tastes and for all budgets. In the most traditional zones or in the new Puerto Madero you can find from the most typical bife de chorizo barbacue to exquisit international and ethnical dishes, with great quality wines, from Mendoza, a fertile region famous for producing wines of exceptional structure and color.
Shopping places: where to buy?
  When going on shopping, the visitor has a lot of options including the native, the antiques, the modern and the vanguardist. The shopwindows in the city centre display a great variety of leather or silver items and the most singular creole handicrafts of excellent manufacture.  
   
 
Some facts

Where is it: Capital city of Argentina. De la Plata riverand Riachuelo are the natural limits of the city towards the east and south. The rest of the metropolitan contour is surrounded by General Paz Avenue, which borders the city from the north to the west.
It's just a few miles from Montevideo, Uruguay's capital city.

Weather: Good all year long. There are very few days of extreme temperature, so you can walk through the city on any season. In winter, July is the coldest month with temperatures between 37°F and 47°F. In summer, average is 82°F.

Tango places: the city offers many famous tango places with shows and dinner.

Museums: the great quantity of museums in the city guarantee go-outs for those ones who enjoy learning aspects from the local culture.

Theatres: with more than 80 theatres, most of them concentrated in the city center, Buenos Aires has a dramatic activity which includes work from local and foreign authors. Its billboard is for all ages and is changing constantly.
